David Howley

David brings more than 25 years of accomplishments in product marketing management and in the network computer industries. A highly accomplished technology leader with expertise in developing and directing the full lifecycle of product portfolios to gain significant competitive advantage. At 3Com, David was the Product Series Manager of the flagship 3Com 8800 Switch Router Series, and led in the definition and management of new products which generated major growth in revenues and new customers. A Senior Analyst at Yankee Group, he focused on Carrier Ethernet solutions for the telecommunications industry. A veteran of Nortel Networks, David was a leading member of the product marketing group which created and brought to the market the Optical Ethernet metropolitan and wide-area solution portfolio (“Carrier Ethernet”). While at Nortel, David led and managed the initiative to market and develop solutions for storage networking, which resulted in a successful business alliance with EMC. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), and a Masters in Business Administration at Loyola University (New Orleans, LA).
